Support for Home Educators
Splatter Make’s experienced staff and innovative curriculum-linked workshops can play an integral part supporting young people who are educated at home.
We already deliver workshops for schools and are committed to supporting a home educators’ community in South London. Together, we can develop pioneering new educational approaches in an informal environment.
Our practical workshops are designed to stimulate and encourage learning. Interactive activities combine curriculum-based topics with life skills. For example, cookery and needlecraft demonstrate how numeracy, self-reliance and resilience are important in our daily lives.
Taking part in a Splatter Make learning activity also gives young people the chance to mix with like-minded students, providing an important social aspect to those who spend the majority of their time studying at home. In addition, it offers parents and tutors support in a group learning environment.
