Easter Classes

Alice’s Faberge Adventures

In this decoupage class, we will be looking at the use of differently patterned paper to transform an ordinary object into a thing of beauty.  Taking inspiration from the art of Faberge, we will explore ways of adding pattern, form and texture to the same underlying shape (an egg!) to give a wide variety of finished effects. We will then learn about the art of decoupage and the techniques required to achieve different finishes.  We will also use sequin art to add patterns, outlines and structure to our cracking creations.

With lots of inspiring paper patterns and Alice in Wonderland motifs to spark the imagination, we look forward to creating our very own “Alice’s Faberge Adventures” display at the end of the workshop before the works of art move to their new homes.
